Eosinophilic fasciitis is a rare disorder that causes inflammation of the skin and connective tissue. It is characterized by thickening and hardening of the skin, usually on the arms and legs. The most common dermatologic manifestations of eosinophilic fasciitis include redness, swelling, and itching of the affected areas. In some cases, the skin may become thickened and leathery. Other symptoms may include joint pain, muscle weakness, and fatigue.
